All reservations must be made verbally. This avoids any time lapses and miscommunications resulting from emails. We will gladly answer any questions you have by phone, but please view the website in its entirety first. Please do not email us your questions or requests.

Allow a minimum of 7 days notice to book tours and rentals.

Private parties and groups of 10 or more:

We will fax you a form requesting a signature and credit card # to hold your reservation. We require a minimum of 14 days notice prior to tour / rental date.

We accept visa, master card, discover and American express

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made verbally.
We require a minimum of 48 hrs. notice prior to scheduled tour/ rental departure time.
Private parties and groups of 10 or more: A minimum of 72 hours notice is required for cancellation.

* We do not allow a change in the number of paddlers after this deadline.

Legal Notice

Should the party fail to cancel and not participate in the reserved activity the full agreed upon fee (including tax) will be charged to the credit card used in placing the reservation

Weather concerns

Blue Planet Kayak will not run tours or rentals in dangerous conditions.

For your safety we reserve the right to cancel prior to or at departure time. If you have paid in advance you will be reimbursed in full at that time.

NOTICE

If we run a tour you have booked and you fail to show because you believe the conditions unfavorable you will still be charged in full. It is our call. We hope you understand it must be this way or customers will use the weather as an excuse for a hangover, etc.

We are experts on local marine weather patterns and conditions. Trust us – not the Weather Channel! Why? Because it can be pouring rain in Key West and sunny where we kayak. Also, rain is far less frequent over water than land, and is usually very brief. We tour areas that are sheltered from all but the strongest winds.
